December/January
We have had a busy time with a trip to Australia in October. I was promised a 'Holiday InThe Sun' for 2 weeks in October as a surprise. When I finally asked where we were going, in case I needed a new swim suit, thinking of Rarotonga, Fiji maybe, I was told I needed work boots not a swim wear. I finally learnt we were off to the Out back of Australia tagging cattle. Not quite what I had in mind for my winter R+R. but an incrediable experience. What amazing people to live in the dry and heat as they do. Give me the mild Poets Corner climate with our rain any day.
John has also had a trip to China again which was very interesting.
My lambs are growing, as you can see. They are very good lawn mowers and due to be shorn in the next couple of weeks We have a son who is a shearer so he will take care of them for me. They still enjoy a bottle, even though they are well past weaning
Noodle the cat is very busy catching rabbits. We seem to have become over run with them at the moment, which is evident in my vegetable garden which is getting eaten off as fast as things grow
Bella is not any slimmer as a result of Noodle feeding her all the rabbits she catches
We are now into the next season and our fourth with guests coming and going already. Bookings looking good and just ahead of last year
We would like to wish you all a happy Christmas and a good 2010 year
May you get all the things you want
Live well. Live happy
Best wishes
John and Marg
